ST. BARNABAS SUNDAY SCHOOL POST

WOW, Here it is almost the end of September!!!   St. Barnabas Sunday School started September 23rd with 17 young people in attendance. We started off with prayer, and then were shown a lady bug bank which Deacon Ruth explained that they would use for their weekly offerings. Many thanks goes out to our Sunday School Teachers, Marjorie Ross, Jennifer Madill, Carleton and Robert Monk, and Brandon Charleau.

The young people then were told that they were going to be Christian spy's for the morning and they all loved it. They were given two camera's to share to take photos, some which are with this article.   They soon went upstairs to join in the baptism of Isabella. Welcome Isabella!!   During children's time upstairs Father James explained to the children about receiving communion.   Click here for photos taken by the Sunday School.

After the service the Sunday School put on a hot dog and chip luncheon to raise money for their child Lusine whom they are sponsoring from World Vision. They raised $106.00. Way to go Sunday School. Thank you goes out to our two chef's Brain Wharry and Jonathan St. Cyr. Thanks to those who did dishes, Jackie and Alice Monk, Jacob and Olivia Page, Madeleine Quirk, Dereck and Emilee Charleau-Horion. Thanks to Marnie Quirk and Carleton Monk for cleaning up. A great thanks goes out to all who helped make this a successful event.

Oh I must not forget those who had birthdays this month, Brandon Charleau, Libby Walker, Brian and Nathanael Wharry and Father James Quirk. Happy Birthday to each of you!!   We are looking forward to a wonderful Sunday School year and we wish to thank you all for your support. May God Bless each and everyone of us.

Love, Deacon Ruth, Sunday School Superintendent.
